C’mon, it is important to understand that you didn’t just gain all that extra weight in one day, and you won’t be able to lose it in one day either. Losing weight is hard and anything that says otherwise is probably a big fat myth.

Here we have tried to make a list of some unhealthy ways to lose weight with the challenges that people might face following them. We always suggest that people should consult their physicians before committing to a strict diet as each body type is different and something that works for one person might not essentially work for the others.
1. Depending Only on Weight Loss Supplements
It is so common today for a person to blindly start taking the supplements for weight loss and other health issues just after watching a couple of misleading ads. But, can you really trust them?
Do you know that, unlike the quality control laws that apply on the manufacturers of prescription drugs, the companies which process and manufacture the weight loss supplements don’t have to prove the product’s effectiveness and the safety? Yeah, you heard it right; the supplement that you take almost daily is not approved for quality and safety by any drug regulator.

Okay, we understand that swearing off all those carbs from your diet may seem a bit assuring when you are on the way to lose weight really fast, but unfortunately, that’s not entirely true. So, the next time you are out there in the market and come across a product with fancy packaging and a label claiming to be ‘fat free’, ‘low-fat’ or ‘reduced-fat’ be sceptical about the claims. Most products that are marketed as fat-free usually have a higher sugar content (Afterall, they have to somehow add the flavour to that bland product).
6. Long Workouts Without Appropriate Breaks
We commend your dedication for sticking to a consistent workout regime but overexerting yourself in the name of a way to lose weight fast is a big no. Yes, burning calories is directly proportional to the amount of workout but another thing that’s proportional to it is hunger.
Long workouts will drive you to eat more, and piling up the plate with extra food can easily erase the hard work you did. So, it is better to cut yourself some slack and take appropriate breaks in between to curb your hunger.
7. Drastically Cutting Down on Calories For Losing Weight Faster
It is often said that taking in a lesser amount of calories than you actually burn in a day can be a quick way to lose weight. While this works in theory, it’s not a viable option for the long term.
Approaching weight loss with the mindset of robust dieting can result in tiredness and missing out the essential nutrients. To counter that you will more likely be attracted towards food with high fat and sugar leading to negative results.

Many companies claim that their weight loss drugs can have dramatic effects but that is not entirely true. There are only a few medications that are proven to shed a bit of weight, and that too when taken regularly for several months.
We suggest that in any case, you must not take the way to lose weight by using weight loss pills unless prescribed otherwise by an expert.
10. Healthier Foods Are Expensive
Healthy food is not actually expensive but it is the exact opposite. Many companies try misguiding people into believing that healthy food is expensive as it is a way for them to leverage the customers into buying their products.
However, while shopping for the products, you need to cut down on the luxuries and replace them with healthier and cheaper alternatives.
From some tactics that suggest you to starve for losing the extra weight, to the others that promise to magically help you lose weight overnight, these are some of the most dangerous ways to lose weight.
